Playfields Stewardship Initiative
The Playfields Stewardship Initiative is a partnership between the Neighborhood Parks Council (NPC), City Fields Foundation (CFF), and the Recreation and Parks Department (RPD) that aims to ensure community enjoyment of newly-installed synthetic turf fields, and to maximize the life expectancy of these fields. This is accomplished by organizing sustainable park stewardship groups, which host park cleanups, meetings about playfield concerns, and community-building events. Below you will find the playfield sites that are a part of this Initiative:
- Crocker Amazon Park
- Kimbell Playground
- Silver Terrace Park
Please contact NPC at council@sfnpc.org or (415) 621-3260 with any questions about the Playfields Stewardship Initiative.
