Welcome to “I Love My Park”, NPC’s monthly column featuring interviews with people all over the city talking about the personal connections they feel to parks in San Francisco.
This month: Kara Deyhle (left) and Kirsten Young (right) in Buena Vista Park on March 30th.

Why do you love your park?
The views of the city are beautiful from Buena Vista Park. It really lets you know where you are located. It is a forest in the city, an escape.
How often do you visit your park?
This is the first time we have ever come to this particular park! It is almost dusk and the sun is about to set.
What is your favorite activity you do in your park?
Hula hooping, of course!
What changes/improvements would you like to see in your park, if any?
There are a few stairs leading up to the top of the park that are weathered and that need repair. It would be great to have a swing at the top to see the city!
