This month: Quinn Donnelly and Erik Almlie, employees of the San Francisco Ballet, interviewed and photographed at lunchtime at Patricia’s Green, in Hayes Valley on December 20th.What is the name of your local park?
Quinn: Lafayette Park.
Erik: Duboce Park and Golden Gate Park.
Why do you love your park?
Quinn: I can spend time outside without spending money. It is like my personal backyard.
Erik: I love the green spaceāit’s a little nature in the middle of the city.
How often do you visit your park?
Quinn: Once a month.
Erik: A couple times per month, but not enough!
What is your favorite activity you do in your park?
Quinn: Reading.
Erik: Observing nature. Looking at the trees and flowers is very peaceful.
What changes/improvements would you like to see in your park, if any?
Quinn: A nicer lawn in Lafayette Park.
Erik: As a bike rider, I would like the roads in Golden Gate Park to be closed the entire weekend.
